Cochrane is now the home of a beautiful new recreational facility called the "TIM HORTON EVENTS CENTRE".
It is the home of many hockey fans. It is named after the famous NHL player, Tim Horton, who was a native of Cochrane.
Tim Horton Events Centre is a multi use facility. It includes an NHL size rink with seating capacity for 500 people and provides six dressing rooms. The swimming pool offers many different features including a waterslide that is 21 feet hight, a lazy river, a sauna, and a hot tub. Its dimensions are 12.5m x 25m with 5 lanes. The fitness centre is 500 square feet and includes new equipment for patrons to enjoy. The community hall accommodates up to 613 people and provides a ground level entrance; a state of the art kitchen that any caterer would love.
A wonderful venue for tourists to experience loads of fun all under one roof.
